Geotechnical Parametres – from Site Investigation to Design

SCHEDULE (PDF)

The 28th international conference Prague Geotechnical Days focused on issue of Geotechnical Parameters – from Site Investigation to Design will be held on May 23–24, 2022

Leading experts from the Imperial College of Science and Technology and the University College of London (Great Britain) – Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Germany) – DNV (Norway) – Southeast University (China) – Sapienza University of Rome (Italy) – Graz University of Technology (Austria) – STU Bratislava (Slovakia) will give lectures on May 23, 2022, at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Lecture blocks will be completed by the 28th Prague Geotechnical Lecture. Professor Gioacchino Viggiani from Université Grenoble Alpes (France) will present the topic of Recent Development in Laboratory Testing of Geomaterials with Emphasis on Imaging Processes. The professor's workshop will take place the next day at the Faculty of Science of Charles University on the topic of 3D Experimental Micromechanics at the Grain Scale: What for? As part of the Prague Geotechnical Days, the prestigious Quido Zaruba Award for the Young Engineering Geologists and Geotechnical Engineers will also be presented. The laureates of the Quido Zaruba Award are well-known specialists in the fields of geotechnics and engineering geology.
